X-Gate

Danfoss X-Gate is the new flexible gateway solution, used at field level to translate data from one protocol to another with the goal to enable the integration of the devices present in the installation. Protocols supported are:

• Modbus RTU or TCP/IP
• BACnet MS/TP or IP
• CAN Bus

Main use-cases for X-Gate are the following:

• Integration of 3rd party devices into the System Manager 800A
• Integration of the System Manager 800A into a general BMS
• Integration of the Danfoss’ devices into a general BMS

X-Gate provides a user-friendly web interface for the full system configuration respecting access control via account & password and user profile.

Please follow this procedure for correct installation of the software:

• Pre-requirement:

X-Gate v5.22 must be installed on top of v5.20. Please first update X-Gate to v5.20 and then to v5.22

• Download the ZIP file
• Unzip and extract the .aspkg file (in case of v5.20 it is a .bin file)
• Connect to X-Gate web interface.
• Go to "Settings" -> "Update X-Gate version"
• Select and upload the .aspkg file (in case of v5.20 it is a .bin file) 
• Wait for the message "Updating... OK"
