Power control for vehicles, machines and marine applications

Danfoss Editron electric drivetrains are specially designed for controlling the flow of hybrid and electric power in vehicle, machine and marine applications.

DC/DC converters

A DC/DC converter changes the lower voltage of a battery to a higher voltage, or vice versa, for use in a system. Our DC/DC converters support a variety of applications, including fuel cells and different voltage batteries. Operating at up to 850 VDC and 400ADC continuous current, our DC/DC converters include the EC-C1200-450 converter and the EC-LTS1200-410 inductor unit.

Product range

The device is a heavy-duty external inductance unit designed to be combined with EC-C1200 DCDC-converter. It allows flexible positioning of the DCDC-converter and inductor unit and is used to transfer energy between two different voltage levels.

Features and benefits

  • Extremely compact design: 410 A unit only 23 kg
  • High enclosure class IP67 – sealed from moisture and dust
  • Liquid cooled with plain water or water/glycol mixture
  • Ambient temperature up to +105°C and down to -40°C
  • Allowed coolant temperature up to +65°C
  • Robust design withstanding high levels of mechanical vibrations and shocks
  • Designed especially for highly cyclical loads typical in heavy mobile work machines
  • Three temperature sensors included for temperature surveillance
