The agreement covers products and solutions across built environment and critical infrastructure sectors including hotels, data centers, shopping centers, municipalities, hospitals, universities, kindergartens, energy parks, charging stations, solar parks, energy-efficient office spaces, and residential homes.
In these areas, Danfoss and Assemblin Caverion Group share a common goal: to create well-functioning, human-centric environments with optimal indoor climates and minimal energy consumption - meeting the expectations of building users.
This shared mission unites Danfoss and Assemblin Caverion Group as they work together to create smarter, more sustainable buildings.
Assemblin Caverion Group has been our preferred facility partner for a decade, and we have been extremely satisfied with our cooperation across all Danfoss locations. Their support has been instrumental in helping us achieve our target of becoming CO₂-neutral in our global operations by 2030. We have also successfully delivered drives to Assemblin Caverion Group’s projects, further strengthening our collaboration.
Through this framework agreement, we look forward to further extending our partnership with Danfoss and bringing our shared expertise in the built environment to the benefit of both building owners and users.
Prioritizing a lifecycle approach for maximum efficiency
Both parties target to prioritizing sustainable solutions with focus on energy-efficient systems, innovative technologies and environmentally friendly maintenance that support both current and future needs always based on a lifecycle approach.
With a lifecycle approach, buildings and sites are designed to meet end-user requirements and sustainability criteria well into the future. This method integrates the needs of the operation and maintenance phase into the design process, ensuring long-term efficiency. As a result, properties become smart, sustainable investments, with potential savings of up to 30% on annual energy and maintenance costs.
“We spend 90% of our time in buildings, which underscores the key role they play in our lives. These buildings and their construction also account for over one-third of final global energy consumption and close to 40% of total direct and indirect CO2 emissions,” Kristian Strand added:
“With this framework agreement in place, we are aligning our values and integrating Assemblin Caverion Group’s projects and expertise with our products and solutions to enhance the lifecycle of buildings. We have the technology ready and knowledge to make buildings more energy-efficient, and we now adding speed to making this happen.”
A long history together
Danfoss and Assemblin Caverion Group are already collaborating on a major retrofit project for Helsinki Energy delivering drives and have previously worked together on the Katri Vala heat pump plant in Finland, which can supply heating for an entire medium-sized city.
With this new agreement, both partners are ready to expand their cooperation internationally.
