Kim Fausing has broad management experience from leading positions in global industrial companies.

Kim Fausing was appointed President & CEO in 2017. Prior to this, since 2008, he was Executive Vice President & COO, responsible for all Danfoss business segments as well as the Danfoss Business System and Global Procurement. In 2007, he joined Danfoss as President of the Danfoss Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Division.

Before this, from 1990 and until joining Danfoss, Kim Fausing held various international positions within the Hilti Group in Europe and Asia and in 2003 was appointed Division President and member of the Group Executive Management Team at the company’s headquarters.

Kim Fausing holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA.

Jesper V. Christensen

Jesper V. Christensen

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Born: November 1969

Jesper V. Christensen has broad financial and business experience from several management positions in Danfoss and the former Sauer-Danfoss Inc.

In 2009, he was appointed Executive Vice President & CFO of Sauer-Danfoss Inc., a position he held until 2013 when he was appointed Executive Vice President & CFO of Danfoss A/S in connection with Danfoss' acquisition and integration of Sauer-Danfoss Inc.

Jesper V. Christensen joined Danfoss A/S as a postgraduate in 1993. In 1998, he became Global Finance Manager in Danfoss Drives, and in 2004, Vice President, Financial Services in Danfoss Global Business Services. In 2007, he was appointed Vice President, Finance, IT and HR in Danfoss Motion Controls. Jesper V. Christensen holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance.

Daniel Winter

Daniel Winter

Born: July 1971

Daniel Winter has broad financial and management experience from several leadership positions in Danfoss and the former Sauer-Danfoss.

Daniel Winter was appointed President of Danfoss Power Solutions in 2025. He was previously Chief Financial Officer for the segment, a role he held since 2020. From 2017 to 2020, he served as Senior Vice President, Head of Finance Functions, Danfoss A/S, and prior to that he was Senior Vice President, Finance and Controlling, for Sauer-Danfoss Inc. from 2013 to 2017.

Before joining Danfoss, Daniel Winter held positions of increasing responsibility with Siemens VDO Automotive AG and then, upon its acquisition, with Continental Automotive GmbH. Those roles took him to Wuhu and Shanghai, China. He later became CFO Asia-Pacific for Benteler Automotive in Shanghai, a position he held from 2009 to 2012.

Daniel Winter holds a Master’s Degree in Managerial Economics, Controlling, and Tax from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.

Jürgen Fischer

Jürgen Fischer

President, Danfoss Climate Solutions
Born: December 1963

Jürgen Fischer has broad leadership experience from global industrial companies within IT, telecommunications, and machine-building.

In 2021, Jürgen Fischer was appointed President of Danfoss Climate Solutions. Prior to this, he was President of Danfoss Cooling since 2015. In 2008, he joined Danfoss as Vice President for Industrial Automation, and in 2010, he became Senior Vice President for Automatic Controls. In 2013, he was appointed President of the Refrigeration and A/C Division.

Prior to Danfoss, he was Global Vice President at GN Netcom and Jabra®. He also held leading positions at Genicom, California Kleindienst Autowaschtechnik, and Digital Equipment.

Jürgen Fischer holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Augsburg. In addition, he has taken several degrees from executive education programs at INSEAD and IMD.

Mika Kulju

Mika Kulju

President, Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives

Born: 1968

Mika Kulju has more than 25 years of business experience in the drives and power electronics industry.

In October 2022, he joined Danfoss as President of Danfoss Drives. Before that, Mika Kulju was President of the Drive Products division at ABB, where he started his career in 1992. His professional and executive experience at ABB includes various local and international roles involving general management, supply chain management, sales, product management, operations, and product development.

 

In 2009, after two years as Global Segment Manager, Mika Kulju took on the role of Vice President, Head of Supply Chain Management and Sourcing for ABB Drives. Subsequently, in 2014 he was appointed Group Vice President, Head of Global Product Group Drive Products, and as of 2020 Division President.

Mika Kulju is a Finnish citizen and has worked and lived in Finland, Belgium, Malaysia, and Sweden. He holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the Helsinki University of Technology.

Ilonka Nussbaumer

Executive Vice President & Head of Group Human Resources

Born: July 1973

Ilonka Nussbaumer has broad international management experience from several leadership positions in the field of human resources.

Ilonka Nussbaumer joined Danfoss in 2019 as Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources. Prior to this, she had global HR responsibility at the large multinational family-owned company Voith, in the position of Senior Vice President from 2011. Before that, she held various international management roles in the HR area for almost ten years at the Schaeffler Group, most recently as Vice President for Automotive Human Resources.

Ilonka Nussbaumer is an Austrian citizen and has worked and lived in Austria, Germany, China, and Denmark. She holds a Master’s Degree from the Vienna University of Economics & Business Administration.
