Electrification cooperation with major OEMs in China
At bauma China 2020 on November 24-27, Danfoss Power Solutions launched its full lines of electrification products and new revolutionary Digital Displacement Pump (DDP) in China.
The Danfoss show booth – “This is where the transformation starts” – displayed a range of advanced hydraulic and electric system solutions to various off-highway machines for achieving energy efficiency and meeting strict environment requirements.
Last year in China, off-highway machines emitted 159,000 tons of SO2, 435,000 tons of HC, 4,933,000 tons of NOx and 240,000 tons of PM emissions. Construction machinery is a major source of these emissions, which has led to the increasing market demand for environmentally-friendly electric system solutions.
Danfoss Power Solutions’ Editron division, a leading electric and hybrid system solution provider to off-highway machines, demonstrated its full electric capabilities and solutions to off-highway and port machines. Also on display were Danfoss’ low-voltage electric propel system and electro-hydraulic steering solutions, which have been applied to off-highway and material handling machines. This latest multi-wheel steering system allows greater flexibility in the most complex steering conditions, maximizing efficiency.
Danfoss Power Solutions has become the preferred electrification partner of the major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in China. Danfoss Power Solutions has recently signed multiple strategic electrification cooperation agreements with the leading mobile OEMs in China, the innovative electrification development projects covering excavators, wheel loaders, cranes, road building and port machines.
“Electrification is a key area not only for Danfoss Power Solutions, but the entire Danfoss Group,” said Steven Zhou, President, Danfoss Power Solutions - China. “Over recent years, we have continuously increased our global innovation efforts to create the most efficient, sustainable and reliable electric solutions based on the current and future needs of our customers. We’re committed to provide our customers in China the electric solutions for complex and sophisticated systems, in order to effectively reduce emissions and improve efficiency."
