Self-limiting heating cables

The self-limiting heating cables for indoors are used for maintenance of the hot water supply and other fluids that need to maintain a certain temperature. The self-limiting capability of the cable ensures that the output increases or decreases according to the surrounding temperature. It ensures hot water in all taps, providing savings compared to a circulatory hot water system.

Heating cable reduces water waste as hot water is immediately supplied.

Protection against Legionella—the system maintains the water supply at the required temperature level and provides appropriate disinfection to suppress the Legionella bacteria.

Lower initial investment of DHW (Domestic Hot Water) system without circulation—appx. 50% less pipes, insulation, valves, and pumps to be installed as no return pipes and insulation are required.

Space saving—no need for return pipe gives more room in service ducts.

EH Plugin for AutoCAD

The Plugin supports your engineering and design journey by making your work faster due to simple functionalities in calculating all lengths, dimensions and product data of cables and mats. It covers all applications within Electric Heating projects: Electric floor heating, Ice & Snow melting systems, Pipe tracing, Cold stores, Sport fields, Vineyards etc.
By utilizing Plugin, you will reduce design time for the project, provide all necessary information for installers in HTML/PDF format: BoM, resistance value check list, warranty list format. It means all project information can be consolidated in one file.

Plugin can be used with AutoCAD 2021.

Warranty

Should you, against all expectations, experience a problem with your product, Danfoss offers a warranty for electric heating products valid from the date of purchase that was no later than 2 years from production date.

Depending on the product, the product guarantee is valid for two years, five years, or twenty years.
